The Accompaniment programme is designed to offer grantee-partners from Doria’s three grantmaking programs opportunities for growth, learning and networking through peer-to-peer support and experts in relevant areas.
Doria employs a holistic understanding of accompaniment and supporting feminist group, which covers various areas of expertise in order to equip grantees with all the skills they need to prosper. The program will offer accompaniment to develop grantee-partners’ managerial skills (proposal writing, financial management, strategic planning, etc.), in addition to providing learning opportunities to strengthen their skills in areas like feminist digital security, knowledge production and advocacy, among others.
It will also offer opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing among grantee-partners working on a diverse array of feminist issues in different countries, through convenings, training, conferences, webinars and workshops exploring various aspects of their work. In cases where the grantees’ needs for mentorship require travel, training or other expenses, a monetary sum will be added on top of the group’s original grant to cover costs.
